Romeo debuted on Z100 in New York City in February, 2002 with his top rated nightly show "Romeo on the Radio." In addition to his on-air duties, he was the music director at the station from 2006 to 2009 and was the assistant music director from 2003-2006. Before arriving to New York, Romeo worked at stations throughout the U.S. including Erie, Pa., Johnstown, Pa., Nashville, Tenn., Salt Lake City, Utah, and Detroit, Mich., where he also served as Q95's assistant program director and interim program director. Romeo was named S.I.N. Magazine CHR Music Director of the Year in 2006 and 2008, received the FMQB CHR Music Director of the year in 2008, received the N.Y. Achievement in Radio Award for Best Evening Show 2002-2005, and was named one of Edison's top 30 Radio Professionals Under 30 in the world. In his first year as PD in Philadelphia Romeo was named FMQB’s CHR PD of the Year in 2010. Q102 was also named CHR station of the year in 2010.
